Johannes, thanks for contacting this mailing list.

The amanda project moves very slow right now ... the former owning 
company Zmanda has been acquired by BETSOL a few months ago and 
development has stalled.

At least as far as we amanda-users know.

Maybe someone has contacted you per private/direct email already, then 
this is obsolete.
