Problem with directory

Hi,

While upgrading my amanda server to 3.3.9, I am facing with the
following problem.

All amanda server configuration directory, tapelist, etc. are in
/usr/local/etc/amanda and that directory must belong to the user
amanda:amanda so that the server can store its business.

The client file amanda-security.conf is also in the same directory and
amanda client needs that directory to be owned by root for security
reasons.

How can I solve that conflict? Better would be having the client file
somewhere else.

I am running amanda on FreeBSD, hence /usr/local/etc
