I missed a few lines:

/sbin/xfsrestore: ERROR: no source file(s) specified
/sbin/xfsrestore: usage: xfsrestore [ -a <alt. workspace dir> ... ]

It is looking more and more like the problem is internal to the
amcheckdump command.
