Greg, I don't have a whole lot of time, and I know almost nothing about Unix and it's relatives, but I would be willing to at least try to get the patches in for unzip that have occurred since the last release, if someone has them and can send them to me. At least that way we can get something together, and if someone out there can check out the Unix version we could stumble along until someone who has more knowledge than I do about Unix decides they have the time to really take it over. Thanks again for > the offer! Note that Ed Gordon has already taken over as Zip maintainer (with some fairly significant input from Rainer Nausdat, I believe). And there's always the slim possibility that whatever's going on with Christian is "temporary" and will clear up by then. But insofar as the primary definition of "maintainer" is "one who maintains," I think we can safely say UnZip is currently unmaintained (except by various BSD and Linux distros) and therefore up for grabs.
