In my special case, the system is 95 % idle.
The disk LED is glowing brightly and the sound
is a bit more rythmic than usual - but not ill.
No negative effects on normal system operations.
Everything runs smooth ... besides the crawler.

If i could imagine why there should occur deadlocks
and timeouts i would say that's what's going on.
Well, there is the Linus elevator ...

The only consolation is that i would not
backup these directories if it wasn't for a
stress test of my crawler. They are as volatile
as they are overcrowded from time to time.

I never experienced these bloopers in real
life myself, but got pointed to them by a user.
That's what users are very good for:
They do things which you wouldn't ever do. :))

Have a nice day :)
