With version 1.5a77-pre3, I couldn't reproduce the problem.

However, I could reproduce it with version 1.5a76 (after adjusting
tsize).  I attached to the running and hanging process with "gdb" and
ran "backtrace".  The result:

Sorry, I wasn't yet able to do more debugging, and maybe the problem is
indeed gone with the latest version.
