The script can be written in every language (including JAVA, COBOL, ..) that is able to change a tape. It only has to do everything we discussed before - and that's the hard work. For changing tapes on SOLARIS I have to give up - the last SOLARIS machine I had was a SPARCclassic - and I think you have a newer one.
