Thanks for the link, but that is the current manual. On IRC rgareus pointed
me to https://github.com/cth103/ardour-manual which looks hopeful. (I'll
look in more detail this evening).

It is apparent in several cases that an original page order was assumed.
Later pages build on concepts introduced earlier in a section, and in a few
instances the text explicitly says "above" or "below" (in contradiction to
the current alpha order).
