In my attempt to get a build of Ardour on OS X working I've run into a problem with the "build-gtk-stack" script. Any idea what's going on? Would it be better to post this question on the GTK-OSX forum? gfileutils.c:1023:16: error: format string is not a string literal [-Werror,-Wformat-nonliteral] format_string, display_name, g_strerror (saved_errno)); ^~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 error generated. make[4]: *** [libglib_2_0_la-gfileutils.lo] Error 1 make[4]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... mv -f .deps/libglib_2_0_la-ggettext.Tpo .deps/libglib_2_0_la-ggettext.Plo make[4]: Leaving directory `/Users/ardour/Desktop/ardour-build-tools/glib-2.38.0/glib' make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/Users/ardour/Desktop/ardour-build-tools/glib-2.38.0/glib' make[2]: *** [all] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/Users/ardour/Desktop/ardour-build-tools/glib-2.38.0/glib' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/Users/ardour/Desktop/ardour-build-tools/glib-2.38.0' make: *** [all] Error 2 glib build1 failed Also, the script doesn't download libpng - from what I can see it's looking for libpng 1.8 however the location it's directed to has been updated to 1.9. I fixed this by downloading the correct version of libpng and then re-running the build script. It might be an idea to fix this?
