Brett,

Patrick and Axel actually discovered that Ardour does not work on 
Windows XP (see the thread "Re: [Ardour-Dev] Windows - Behringer X32" 
from earlier today).

The page https://nightly.ardour.org/ says "Compatible with Windows XP 
and any later version", but should be updated to read "Compatible with 
Windows Vista and any later version"
