Hello, as mentioned by Robin and Tom on #ardour, I made a little proposal for a more comprehensive support of OSC about a year ago, with some help and considerations from Tom himself. It's not completely related to what you are talking about in this thread, since my proposal was more user-need-related than hardware specific, nonetheless it can be useful to join the efforts of both programmers and needs of "simple" users like me.
