should solo-in-place and/or exclusive solo be session specific?

There's a bug report on tracker.ardour.org that says: ---------------------- Feature request: make Solo In Place/Exclusive Solo setting session specific rather than global. When I'm mixing I always use SiP. When I'm doing more mastering-type work I'm often A/B'ing between two versions of a piece on different tracks, where Excl. Solo is what I always use. It's a bit of a faff having to change the solo setting when changing sessions, whereas if the solo setting was part of the session-specific settings rather than a global setting, it would obviate the need to frequently change this particular setting.------------------------- I'm asking for more feedback. It basically seems like a good idea to me, though not 100%. _______________________________________________ ardour-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ardour.org/listinfo.cgi/ardour-dev-ardour.org
