You should be able to specify what kind of track it is: http://manual.ardour.org/working-with-tracks/track-types/#channelconfiguration .. or you could use something like audacity to convert the stereo wav to mono prior to import. ________________________________ From: Ardour-Users <[email protected]> on behalf of Gunter Königsmann <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 17, 2017 3:42 AM To: ardour-users Subject: [Ardour-Users] Split stereo to mono tracks Dear all, A simple beginner's question. But I seem not to be able to find a solution to it: If I have imported an stereo .wav file into my session and now see that only one track was connected to a microphone and the other is silent... ...is there an easy way to convert the stereo track to two mono tracks - and to discard one of them? ...and if my master bus has the wrong number of channels - how do I correct that? In the internet I've read "Just delete it and create a new one". But I never found a way to make this work. Thanks a lot, and kind regards, Gunter. _______________________________________________ Ardour-Users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or change your mailing preferences please visit: http://lists.ardour.org/listinfo.cgi/ardour-users-ardour.org Ardour-Users Info Page<http://lists.ardour.org/listinfo.cgi/ardour-users-ardour.org> lists.ardour.org Your email address: Your name (optional): You may enter a privacy password below.
