Hi, suppose I take a preexisting Midi accompaniment starting on the beat and I want to record reasonably. Then I'd likely want a count-in, but starting recording on the beat just is too late. How should I best rig this? Of course I can produce a Midi with some count-in noises and cut them off afterwards but this is for a talk I am going to hold and it would be good _not_ to have to change the way the Midi is produced. Here is the result of what I had so far: <https://youtu.be/6nU_thq2wUw> and it's obvious that exploding on the beat is not really nice for the bass voice (the alto comes a few bars later, no problem there). So how should I best be rigging this instead? -- David Kastrup _______________________________________________ Ardour-Users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or change your mailing preferences please visit: http://lists.ardour.org/listinfo.cgi/ardour-users-ardour.org
