Resizing VST plugin windows upwards of their initial size

Hello,

Is there a known problem in the resizing of VST plugin windows upwards
of their initial size, eg. their size when launched ? To take one
example as illustration, on Linux Mint 18 KDE, the u-he softsynth ACE
resizes correctly using carla-single from an initial 70% to 110%.  The
same when using Bitwig.

In Mixbusv4 and 5 (Ardour) the same plugin, when launched initially at
a size of 90% will resize correctly at 70%, eg. the window border will
be adapted to the new smaller size.  But when resizing upwards of 90%,
at 110%, the plugin UI itself will extend to the new size where as
Mixbus' plugin winodw will stay the same.  Enlarging the Mixbus plugin
window will only reveal black space and not the plugin UI.

Resizing downwards of the initial size works, resizing upwards does not.

Both resizing works on the same system using both carla-single and
Bitwig.  Eg. it works separately using carla-single from the command
line and then it also works using Bitwig.
