Hi all, A voice from the deep, dark, long ago past has returned. I've been using Mixbus32C for maybe a year now for just some personal recording projects. Up until recently I was using a Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen USB device and everything works perfectly well for my modest needs. In the last week I dug out my Hammerfall hdsp9652, got it installed and working in the machine. It works fine as a system audio card playing audio out through playback_1/2. I do have an issue though when using either Mixbus or Ardour. It appears that with a default, new session setup, all of the audio directed toward the playback hardware, at least with a default setup that uses playback_1/2 on the Hammerfall card, this audio is possibly duplicated on the spdif output. The easiest way I've found to duplicate the problem is to create a new session, enable the metronome and hit play. In HDSPMixer I see the click on both playback_1/2 and spdif.L/R. I say 'possibly' above as I don't have spdif hardware right now to listen but I see it in the mixer so I'm assuming it's there. spdif hardware is ordered and should be here by the weekend. I was wondering if any other Hammerfall users have seen this or whether there's possibly an option somewhere the specifically duplicates output audio on the spdif output. The default spdif options in hdspconf are all unchecked. I've not yet tried setting those to see if there's any difference. Any ideas on this issue are appreciated.
