Hi,

I'm still on 5.8 on Arch Linux, not from official Arch repositories. If
you didn't run a version >= 5.12 the folder shouldn't exist.

If you run

  $ ls -ld ~/.config/ardour*

you should notice the same as I do. You don't have got a directory
~/.config/ardour6 ;).
