I’d think that we should probably start logging and working on them. The distros have already started migration to gtk3 and I’d imagine that they might go so far as to stop including gtk2 in the future. What's the current status on Audacity with gtk3? Discussions that I've found about this recommend building wxWidgets with gtk2, but the Linux build instructions imply that either can be used.
