Re: Multiple versions of Audacity 3.x running simultaneously ???

I’ve tried several times now and and not able to get this to happen.  But, do you happen to be running with portable settings?  I haven’t tried that yet, but I can “imagine” that multiple copies of Audacity could run then since the “data directory” is used to generate the IPC key.

I can however have two identical builds of Audacity 3.0.2 and run both at the same time.

Do  we still check that only one instance of Audacity is running?

If so, that's not working.

 

I'll send a screenshot separately in case the mailing system blocks it.
