Muse group is looking for a C++ developer for Audacity development

Hi,

I still dont't have a real opinion about the buyout of the Audacity 
brand to the Muse Group. It's interesting to see that the Muse Group is 
hiring a developer for Audacity development:

Interesting to read within this employment ad is:

Familiarity with QT/QML

I know the C++ class lib used currently might look somehow old fashioned 
but it is working cross platform and I could live with it as a user. QT 
could be a possible option (cross platform, license LGPL/MIT).
But a change of such a framework should be discussed with the Audacity 
developer community. That's my opinion. And there are other cross 
platform GPLv2 compatible C++ class libs available.
