Thanks for the report. This has been ameliorated for the next 2.1.3 version of Audacity when released. Paste should work, but it always pastes so that the entirety of the text field will be used, disregarding any selection present and ignoring the position of the insertion cursor. Also, paste ignores which control really has the focus. If you have any further bug reports at any time, I recommend writing to our bugs and feature requests address [email protected] . We can't guarantee we will always see bugs posted on this list.
