Hi everyone,
I have an Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM laptop, Windows 10, Audacity
2.1.3. Here’s the problem, I’m using Timer Record to record a few
radio stations. I start it when it’s ready and tell it to record for a
certain amount of time. Yesterday I told it to record for 37 minutes
and 20 seconds. When timer record worked on my old laptop under
previous versions of Audacity, it would stop somewhere around 37
minutes and 20.443 seconds, which I can live with. However, lately I’m
fairly lucky if it stops a couple seconds after the timer is told to
stop. If it stops close to the time, it’s still about a second and a
half too late. Yesterday however, it stopped a good 10 minutes too
late. Has anyone else had this problem, and can anyone suggest a
solution? It looks like I’ll have to go back to the timing workaround
for the moment.
Bob
