Recording problem.

Dear Sir,
I have been using Audacity 2.1.3 version since long. Recently I have
downloaded Audacity 2.2.2. Now when I open a saved karaoke track and
record my voice with it, the recorded track starts from the end of
karaoke track on the same track. Earlier the recorded track appeared
on the lower track  below the karaoke track.
 Please help for removing this problem. I am using Windows 10 OS on my
Dell laptop.
