Hi julien,

The easiest way to start using Scripting is with "Macros" (
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/macros.html)

Macros provide a built-in mechanism for creating a simple list of commands.
Running the Macro runs through the list of commands in turn.

A slightly more "advanced" way, is to use Nyquist (
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/nyquist.html#program)
With Nyquist you can run Scripting commands as "AUD-DO" commands. See:

Nyquist is built into Audacity, so no need to compile anything.

For an even more advanced method of running Scripting commands, there is an
optional module that can be built from the source code called
"mod-script-pipe". When this module is enabled, scripting commands may be
sent to Audacity from external scripting languages (such as Python). See:
