I've tried to use RCA couples(?), something to connect two RCA chords. One from my red and white chord from my Denon and an RCA to USB. My computer didn't recognize the USB as anything. I tried my Denon to RCA couples(?) to RCA/headphone jack to; finally, a headphone adapter to USB and that still recorded in mono. Then, I went to troubleshoot the microphone and it said, "there is a problem with stereo" (roughly stated). I sent it to fix the problem and it enabled and disabled things. Now the headphone adapter/USB is identified as an option as USB but nothing would record in stereo but it was amplified greatly. Finally, I went to sound control (or board) and set the stereo mix as default, now nothing will record from anywhere and I went back to sound control and the stereo mix setting wasn't there. To summarize: nothing will record from any microphone or USB now.
