Hi,

I have a problem with cdparanoia ripping a cd. The cd (Bravo Hits 36 - CD 2 -
CD id 1412b914) is from Sony Music and copy protected.

cdparanoia does not report any problem. When playing the sound file I hear
aroung every 11 seconds a scatch. When playing the cd directly with kscd,
everything is perfect

I'm using cdparanoia III release 9.8 (March 23, 2001)

The cdrom drive is a LG 52x

The drive is detected as :
Checking /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 for cdrom...
Testing /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 for cooked ioctl() interface
                CDROM sensed: ATAPI compatible CRD-8520B

I tried also raw output with the -p option but there is no change.

Ripping a normal CD gives perfect results. Any idea what going wrong ?

Here is the output of cdparanoia:

pheuch@hogwarts:~/temp/cd/2.cdda> cdparanoia -v -B -- "-1"
cdparanoia III release 9.8 (March 23, 2001)
