hi
I've installed cdparanoia III release 9.8, but can't get access to the
cdrom. This cdrom drive is an builtin ATAPI CDROM, model CDU701-25 in a
macppc.
cdparanoia -Qsv output is the following:
Checking /dev/cdrom for cdrom...
Testing /dev/cdrom for cooked ioctl() interface
/dev/hdi is not a cooked ioctl CDROM.
Testing /dev/cdrom for SCSI interface
/dev/cdrom is not a SCSI device
.... No cdrom drives accessible to root found.
ls -al /dev/cdrom:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Jul 29 21:42 /dev/cdrom ->
/dev/hdi
ls -al /dev/hdi:
brwxrwxrwx 1 root disk 56, 0 Jul 29 21:14 /dev/hdi
playing an audiocd with grip is possible.
Any suggestions on this problem ?
Thanks Rolf
