Is there a technical reason that prevents the use of CDROM_SEND_PACKET instead 
of SG_IO ? ide-scsi shouldn't be used with 2.6 (according to Linux), the 
ATAPI interface (CDROM_SEND_PACKET) is prefered.

There might be technical problems though. If you are aware of them, please 
keep me informed :-)
