Ripping audio as well as subcode

Hi,

Is it possible to instruct cdparanoia to rip not only the 16 bits of
audio data, but also the subcode data to a file?  I'm fidgeting with an
HDCD encoded disc at the moment, and taking a peek at the subcode would
be useful.

On a semi-related note, what does cdparanoia do with tracks with
pre-emphesis enabled?  Does it ignore it, and just give you a
higher-pitch file out the other side, or does it do the relevant
transformation in the digital domain?
