Hi Pim, I've just downloaded the current cdparanoia source from SVN and it did indead compile fine. But I still get the kernel flooding. uname -a: Linux leena 2.6.21-gentoo-r4 #1 PREEMPT Fri Jul 13 17:10:07 CEST 2007 i686 Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.50GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux The optical drive is just a normal PATA one. Using cd-paranoia from libcdio seems to solve my problem. I would just like to know where the differences between the project are? Thanks, Tobias
