All of the above "hangs" at some tracks. If you can't rip cleanly with cdparanoia or cdda2wav due to said scratches that you can see and hear, then you need to remove the scratches. Rip the tracks you can cleanly. Then find a cotton buffing wheel and fine polish and buff them out. Practice first. Used cd stores or libraries may do it for you. Please pick better subject lines than generic 'new user question'.
