Now, following instruction from Thomas on 10/30/2010 02:24 AM, I have
both tools ready:

almustafa@orphalese:/usr/local/src/xorriso-0.6.5$ xorriso/xorriso -version
GNU xorriso 0.6.5 : RockRidge filesystem manipulator, libburnia project.

Let's burn:

almustafa@orphalese:/usr/local/src/cdrskin-0.8.9$ cdrskin/cdrskin -multi -v speed=1 dev=/dev/sr1 /var/tmp/DVD+R/1st_session.iso
cdrskin 0.8.9 : limited cdrecord compatibility wrapper for libburn

Total size: 1586 MB (180:33.36) = 812352 sectors

Starting to write CD/DVD at speed 1 in real SAO mode for multi session.

cdrskin: thank you for being patient for 44 seconds Track 01: 1586 of 1586 MB written (fifo 100%) [buf 97%] 2.2x.
cdrskin: thank you for being patient for 546 seconds

cdrskin: working post-track (burning since 577 seconds)

Cdrskin: fifo had 812352 puts and 812352 gets.
Cdrskin: fifo was 0 times empty and 73918 times full, min fill was 99%.
Min drive buffer fill was 0%
cdrskin: burning done

And check the mount result in dmesg:

[ 3155.339700] ISO 9660 Extensions: RRIP_1991A

NO ERROR!

To me it seems the problem is now solved. Conclusion: use cdrskin in
place of wodim for DVD+R DL.
