Hi,

be invited to try the new version 1.2.0 of my program cdrskin,
a burn backend for CD, DVD and BD with a command line interface
compatible to cdrecord.

System requirements:
Linux with kernel 2.4 or 2.6: libc, libpthread
or FreeBSD : libc, libpthread, IDE and SATA drives need atapicam
or Solaris : libc, libpthread

Changes:

* Bug fix: cdrskin produced a memory fault if interupted before writing began

* Bug fix: Solaris adapter mishandled write commands which failed on first try

* Bug fix: Interrupting libburn while drive tray is loading led to endless loop

* Bug fix: Progress report with blanking and formatting could be bogus

* Implemented the following cdrecord emulation options
    textfile=
    -vv -toc (for cdtext.dat production)
    mcn=
    isrc=
    -scms
    -copy
    -nocopy
    -preemp
    -nopreemp
    index=

* Partly implemented the following cdrecord emulation options
    cuefile=
    -text

* New cdrskin options
    input_sheet_v07t=
    --cdtext_dummy
    --cdtext_verbose
    --four_channel
    --two_channel
    cd_start_tno=
    sao_pregap=
    sao_postgap=

and its detached signature file:
  http://scdbackup.sourceforge.net/cdrskin-1.2.0.tar.gz.sig
by which the download may be verified:
  gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys ABC0A854
  gpg --verify cdrskin-1.2.0.tar.gz.sig cdrskin-1.2.0.tar.gz

scdbackup.sourceforge.net is mirrored at scdbackup.webframe.org .

cdrskin is also part of the libburn-1.2.0 SVN tag:
  http://svn.libburnia-project.org/libburn/tags/1.2.0
(needs autotools >= 1.7 to apply command ./bootstrap)

and of the libburn-1.2.0 release tarball:
  http://files.libburnia-project.org/releases/libburn-1.2.0.tar.gz
(needs only vanilla tools for ./configure ; make)
