Hello dear list:
I don't know if here can I ask about dvd+rw-format, the autor of
dvd+rw-tools points this list.

So, I've tried to format a BD-RE disc with a different approach than
*default* or *none spare tables.*

But always get error.

I've tried also to figure out if something went wrong in calculation of the
spare register, but I can't figure it out.

I've tried 5 different burners (1 LG, 3 Pioneer, 1 Samsung) with 4
different BD-RE brands (Kodak, Memorex, Ri-Data, Verbatim) 25GB

(Ignore the debugging, I've touched the source to see the internal maths)

I'm currently using Debian 10, and only -ssa=3Dnone or -ssa=3Ddefault is
working. max and min also does not work.

=C2=BFHow can I select different format capacity?

Best Regards in advance

dvd+rw-tools-7.1$ ./dvd+rw-format -f /dev/sr0 -ssa=3D32m
