Sorry. It seems that I'm 17 years out of date. I still use the stable release 1.2.1, which only supports WAV, AIFF, and raw output.

It's great that the flac tool now supports RIFF64 and Wave64, but as others have pointed out it can be incredibly inefficient without the --skip and --until options when dealing with very large files.

I was referring to concatenation of audio files created by the flac tool, using other means.

Are you suggesting that the flac tool should add support for concatenating FLAC files?
