GitHub Pages are easiest to create and maintain (that's your option 2 I think). A link from csound.com would be the way to go in that case. However, there is a limit on traffic to GitHub Pages, documented here: https://docs.github.com/en/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/about-github-pages#usage-limits. I think the limit is almost certainly high enough that this would work, but if it doesn't work, then the best solution is to host the site on your university server.
