[Csnd-dev] ANNOUNCEMENT: Initial (beta) release of cloud-5 -- HTML5-only computer music environment

I am pleased to announce the first general release of cloud-5, my
system/toolkit for making computer music in HTML5, at
https://github.com/gogins/cloud-5/releases.

cloud-5 is a system for making sophisticated computer music purely in the
HTML5 environment! The system is especially suited for pieces that
run online, for pieces that play indefinitely, for visual music, for
algorithmic composition, and for live coding.

cloud-5 runs on every system with an audio output that can run a Web
server and a standards compliant Web browser. That includes _all_
computers running macOS, Linux, or Windows, as well as most Android
devices. The system will run without configuration from the installation
directory or from a thumb drive.

cloud-5 is used by my own Web site of "always-on" computer music pieces at
https://gogins.github.io/.

This is a beta release. Please enter issues at
https://github.com/gogins/cloud-5/issues for any bugs you find, feature
requests, or suggestions.
