Hi, I use WinXound regularly as well, on Windows and Linux, and the developer Stefano was very quick to respond to me when I had a question about source code a while ago - also he said he regrets that he doesn't have the time to maintain it at the moment. All the download links on the site appear to work OK and in my opinion it's a stable/mature piece of software (albeit with some slightly outdated bits like specific CsoundAV support), but then also with those in mind, it may not be the best option for someone getting started and looking at the csound.com frontends page. all the best Richard On 2023-12-29 15:24, joachim heintz wrote: > thanks pablo! > but is there still any download link? > > > On 29/12/2023 16:18, Oscar Pablo Di Liscia wrote: >> I still use it when working under Windows. >> Too bad it is not maintaned, IMHO that it is a good Csound frontend. >> Nothing against other option, however. >> Best >> >> >> El viernes, 29 de diciembre de 2023, joachim heintz >> <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> escribió: >> >> sad to say, but i think WinXound is not any more developed since >> years, so we should remove it from >> https://csound.com/frontends.html >> <https://csound.com/frontends.html> and from the sidebar. >> >> or does anyone know anything positive? >> >> >> >> -- Dr. Oscar Pablo Di Liscia >> Profesor Titular >> Co-Director Programa de Investigación "Sistemas Temporales y Síntesis >> Espacial en el Arte Sonoro" >> http://stseas.web.unq.edu.ar/ <http://stseas.web.unq.edu.ar/> >> Escuela Universitaria de Artes >> Universidad Nacional de Quilmes >> Argentina >>
