[Csnd-dev] new api: headers not found

i want to build csoundqt for the new csound7 api following tarmo's work, 
but i get errors about
graph_display.h not found and
circular_buffer.h not found.

what i did to make the new api available for csoundqt:
- git pull
- git checkout develop
- build csound7
- install system wide

as far as i see, the feature/newapi branch has been merged into develop 
in 
https://github.com/csound/csound/commit/79341e31e036ccc894e4eb50f6d11a29632b1351

or is feature/newapi still available and i have to checkout?  i don't 
see it when doing
git branch -r
