[Csnd-dev] gradle error

I installed a new android studio and tried to build the CsoundForAndroid project but then it said I needed to update gradle to 8.9.
So I did and now I get this error

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:
A problem occurred configuring project ':CsoundAndroid'.
> Failed to notify project evaluation listener.
   > org/gradle/api/plugins/MavenPlugin

Any clues?
