You can certainly run Python as a subprocess of Emacs and execute Python 
functions this way. This is not integrated into Csound-X but the whole 
thing is fairly open so I don't see why it would be a problem.

Do you want to simply leverage existing code in Python, or are you thinking 
of always using Python instead of ELisp ?
