I'm curious to find out how most people on the list now are using Csound. We discussed this about a year back, and I wonder how the advances in csound and other software have changed things. How does everyone actually use Csound. Ie, just to make samples, do the whole track in csound, do individual tracks in Csound and mix down in a multitracker, midi controlled multitracking, etc. Me, all I do in all honesty is work on my sequencer project and practice playing on it. Eventually I hope to be able to use jack to record individual tracks from a sequencer project into Ardour, and use ardour for just final mixing, like levels, pan, reverb, and minor eq. All tricky effecting will be done within csound ( delays, flanging, filtering, stereo tricks, etc. ). Anyone used Ardour in this manner yet and have any comments?
