Ah, that would be UI software's Metasynth. He uses that quite a bit, but only for quite extreme effects, not drum programming or anything like that. Ive always wondered what his tracks 'look' like, his arrangements in Logic or whatever the hell he uses. I was mucking around and came up with quite a neat track a few weeks ago, you can grab it here (shameless plug;): http://www.widosm.com/music/contour2.mp3 It wasnt intentional, but afterwards a lot of people said it was very Aphex-like.
