Re: csound server

I was thinking about this one myself, and it seems like csound5 could be
used by using the python OSC library with the csound5 python API it would
be easy to use the ethernet to control the server from the laptop.

But I haven't gotten csoundVST/csound5 to work at all, so this is just a
theory until I can get portaudio fixed on my machine.

With csound4, there's only MIDI control, so you'd need to use something
like NetMidi:
http://www.sreal.com:8000/~div/midi-utilities-for-unix/

to transmit midi messages from the client to server over the network.

You could use Midi::Music to have a perl client that uses NetMidi to
transmit to csound sitting on the server.
