Do you have an example of routing it as a sidechain? That's an 
interesting idea. I agree it's a nice sounding distortion. Just loud!

As an aside, I just discovered that moogvcf and lpf18 sound really nice 
running in parallel. I put both in one bass instrument with the 
intention of being able to switch between the sound of either on the 
fly, and discovered I really like the sound of a bit of each on, warmer 
than either by themselves. 'Course you have to turn the lpf18 down a lot 
to balance it if there's any distortion factor.
