By periodic I mean that a short sample of white noise is repeated as a waveform. It's a quick and easy way of generating spectrally rich waveforms. I found gen 21 to work well, with the Gaussian method. At table lengths like 64 or 128 it sounds robotic. I've been trying to emulate the effect with Gen 9, in order to have more control over the tone. Lars Luthman <[email protected]> wrote:What do you mean with "periodic"?
