Thanks Fred. I was not aware of this program even though I've been using EAC for some time now. I would think you would want to send a notice to all registered users of EAC to let them know in case they would like to upgrade to an easier to use version. I'm thinking of doing it just because I have EAC loaded on two different computers just so I don't have to rerun the wizard or save 2 different setups just to switch between flac and mp3 formats.
I find it a little odd that the company would charge for a simpler program. I guess all convenience items come at a cost, right? LOL Packaged salads are a lot more expensive than buying the ingredients and making it yourself.
One question I have that doesn't seem to be answered in the FAQ is how the directory for the saved files are picked. Can a user still change the target directory before they start the extraction process?
I downloaded the trial version and may try it later today. I'm assuming/hoping that it doesn't overwrite the current EAC program since it has a different name and I would expect that both programs could be loaded on a computer at the same time.
