Re: Hardware to room play the collection

​I forgot who originally started this thread and what her/his requirements
were, but one device that deserves a mention is the Chromecast Audio. A
friend recently bought one and it's great, although it took some fiddling
to set up properly in his i*/Mac-only home environment. But at $3500 it's a
steal! (Just kidding, of course - remove two zeros.)

Also, thanks to Fred for mentioning Daphile - looks very interesting. Other
(open source) alternatives:
