assistance with error when ripping cd, file creation aborted

Hi list,

wondering if someone might be able to offer some advice on a problem I 
have recently experienced for the first time when ripping a cd with eac,

I am not a new eac user, but this is the first time I have experienced 
this problem.

I am having a problem with two discs, on one disc when I try to rip the 
first track of the disk I get a message that says file creation error, 
copy aborted.

on another disk its the last track where this error happens.

the strange thing is that the rest of the tracks on these disks rip fine.

I have had a look at them and they don't seem scratched or anything so I 
am thinking maybe the disks themselves are defective though they do play 
fine.

below please find a log from one of the rips, though not sure how
