I think most objective individuals know certain things about politicians etc. through vigorous research.  The situation “it is what it is” and I can see where such a signature might cause unnecessary strife.    Hopefully Jonathan Winters past thoughts are okay?

I don’t intend to let the EAC group devolve into angry political arguing. Therefore, I will not permit any messages or signatures which support Trump, the GOP in general, or right-wing political views or causes. So your quote (see below) seems fine to me.
